The Union Bank of India, Vijayawada Regional Office, gave diagnostic and testing equipment to the Government General Hospital (GGH), Vijayawada, on 4 November for around Rs 8 lakh as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Union Bank Vijayawada Regional Head MV Tilak presented the equipment to Hospital Superintendent Dr. A Venkateswara Rao in front of Deputy Zonal Head MVN Ravi Shankar, who was the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Venkateswara Rao expressed gratitude to Union Bank for its contribution and stated that the new equipment would improve diagnostic services for thousands of patients in the Pathology, Microbiology, Dermatology, and Blood Bank departments.
Participating in the program were Prof. Dr. Shubha Lakshmi, GGH Pathology HOD Dr. Rajani, Union Bank Ramavarappadu Branch Manager Vasanth, and other department heads.
