By surpassing 3 lakh electric vehicle sales in India, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a division of the Mahindra Group, has accomplished a significant milestone. This accomplishment makes MLMML the nation’s first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to accomplish this significant milestone in the commercial EV market. The Mahindra ZEO electric four-wheeler and a variety of electric three-wheelers, including the Treo series, Zor Grand, and e-Alfa, are part of the company’s portfolio. Together, these cars have driven over 5 billion km on Indian highways, demonstrating the increasing popularity of electric mobility for last-mile travel. The company thinks that this has made a substantial contribution to India’s sustainability goals by preventing roughly 185 kilometric tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility sold its most recent one lakh EVs in just the last year, demonstrating the sharp increase in EV usage in urban and semi-urban areas. In order to satisfy changing consumer demands, the firm has also been aggressively modernising and growing its product line, introducing new and improved models like the Mahindra ZEO, e-Alfa Plus, Zor Grand Range Plus, and Treo Plus sheet metal variation.
This accomplishment demonstrates Mahindra’s dedication to advancing efficient, eco-friendly, and clean transportation options for the future while solidifying its position as a leader in India’s commercial EV market.
