In a major step towards improving skill development in India’s woodworking sector, the Hettich Poddar Wood Working Institute (HPWWI) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Biesse.

The collaboration intends to improve instruction on cutting-edge woodworking equipment, enabling students to incorporate contemporary technology into their workmanship. Beyond schooling, the partnership demonstrates a common dedication to fostering environmental stewardship, empowering people via upskilling, and producing long-term benefit for the country.

This is the second partnership between HPWWI and Biesse; the first was in Faridabad, and the current partnership is growing to Bhandup, Mumbai, signifying Biesse’s calculated foray into India’s financial hub.

The event showcased how education and innovation can work together to alter India’s skill development landscape through interactive seminars and live workshops. Participants saw firsthand how HPWWI’s training modules can seamlessly include Biesse’s cutting-edge woodworking technologies, giving students exposure to real-world, industry-relevant applications.
