Recently, the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) and Flutter Entertainment India LLP (FEI), the Hyderabad-based centre of excellence for the world’s top sports entertainment operator, Flutter, announced their collaboration to fortify India’s para-sports ecosystem and advance their shared dedication to using sport to empower communities.
Training, Rehabilitation Center/Adaptive Gym Upgrade, Nutrition & Coaching, and Customised Adaptive Devices & Equipment are the two main activities at AMF that Flutter Entertainment India has contributed INR 60 Lakh to assist. Up to 15 para-athletes will be directly impacted by these programmes as they train for major events like the 2028 Paralympic Games and the Asian Youth Para Games. In line with AMF’s conviction that the proper infrastructure can transform potential into podium finishes, the funding reinforces AMF’s objective of empowering athletes to train with dignity, confidence, and top-notch resources.
“We are delighted to partner with Flutter, whose support will significantly strengthen India’s para-sports ecosystem,” stated Aditya Mehta, the founder of the Aditya Mehta Foundation and an international para-cyclist. This contribution will directly assist para-athletes in obtaining the specialised training, rehabilitation, and adaptive equipment they need. Athletes will be able to participate in important national and international competitions, such as World Championships and World Cups, thanks to the partnership, which is essential for accumulating qualification points. This assistance is in line with our common goal of obtaining several spots for the 2028 Paralympics and advancing gifted para-athletes to the top levels of international competition.
AMF was established in 2013 and is the first organisation in Asia solely focused on high-performance training and parasports rehabilitation. India has won more than 450 international medals because of its efforts, which have turned local talent into elite athletes. By collaborating with AMF, Flutter Entertainment India hopes to quicken this pace and provide the necessary resources and assistance to enable para-athletes to realise their greatest potential.
According to Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India, “Para-athletes embody perseverance, aspiration, and the conviction that sport ought to be available to all.” Our collaboration with the Aditya Mehta Foundation demonstrates Flutter’s enduring dedication to building top-notch training environments that help athletes reach their full potential. Our goal is to help para-athletes reach their maximum potential and compete confidently on the international scene by expanding access to adaptive gear, sports science, and expert coaching.
