“Livelihood on Wheels at Indore Residency Club”, the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) flagship CSR project under the Accessibility vertical, was successfully carried out by Young Indians (Yi) Indore. arranged in collaboration with MAERSK, Neo Motion, Zomato, and the CII Foundation. The effort strengthened wheelchair users’ dignity, mobility, and access to sustainable livelihood options, which was a critical step towards empowering them, according to the report. The programme, which was organised in collaboration with the CII Foundation, MAERSK, Zomato, and NeoMotion, brought together dedicated stakeholders who collaborated to advance an accessible and inclusive environment in the city.
MP Shankar Lalwani praised the recipients’ resolve to pursue independent lives and inspired them with his words of encouragement.
“Livelihood on Wheels” concentrated on providing wheelchair users with comprehensive support by giving them cutting-edge mobility solutions, integrating them into mainstream delivery systems, and giving them the necessary training to start their careers.
