Advatix, a global company under the GCG group, has partnered with Rural Education and Development (READ) India to drive a transformative Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at improving education access and digital skills among underserved communities. The programme, titled “Let’s Learn and Grow,” recently marked a significant milestone with a ceremony recognising students who successfully completed various training modules.
The initiative focuses on addressing a growing gap between traditional education systems and the fast-changing demands of technology-driven learning. With increasing reliance on digital tools, artificial intelligence, and online knowledge platforms, many students—particularly in rural and semi-urban areas—lack access to the resources needed to keep pace. To tackle this, Advatix has introduced structured learning opportunities that combine technology, infrastructure, and skill development.
As part of the programme, students have been provided with essential learning tools such as books, computers, and laptops. Additionally, a fully equipped community library has been established to create a sustainable educational environment. This infrastructure serves as a hub where learners can access both academic content and digital training resources, helping them build competencies required in today’s workforce.
A key component of the initiative is Advatix Vidya™, a cloud-based learning and knowledge management system developed by the company. This platform enables learners to progress from basic digital literacy to more advanced, job-oriented skills through a structured and accessible approach. It ensures that education is not only available but also relevant to current industry needs, thereby enhancing employability.
One of the standout features of the CSR programme is the Technology Empowering Girls (TeG) initiative. This three-month module is specifically designed to support young women between the ages of 15 and 30 by equipping them with digital skills and confidence. The goal is to improve their readiness for employment opportunities and higher education, while also encouraging greater participation of women in the technology space.
Beyond technical training, the programme adopts a holistic approach to development. Participants receive guidance in soft skills, spoken English, career planning, and personal well-being, including health and hygiene awareness. Exposure to real-world work environments is also provided through visits to corporate offices, where students engage in mock interviews and interact with professionals. This helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations.
Leaders from both organisations emphasised that the initiative goes beyond short-term support. Instead, it represents a long-term investment in the future of young learners by combining infrastructure, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunities.
