Harjinder found it difficult to maintain consistency in his care, as he was previously reliant on far-off health institutions for regular examinations.

His access to medical assistance greatly improved when Ambuja Cements set up health camps as part of its CSR effort and routine community monitoring. He obtained discounted medications, started monitoring his blood sugar levels, and changed to a healthy regimen that prioritised food and exercise with the assistance of qualified healthcare professionals. Through home-based guidance and awareness sessions, his wife also became an active participant.
