Two 42-seater school buses have been presented to schools in Raisen and Bankhedi (Narmadapuram), Madhya Pradesh, by the Avaada Foundation, marking a significant step towards educating and empowering tribal and rural populations. This programme is a component of the Avaada Foundation’s goal to provide children from rural areas with access to high-quality education, particularly young girls who struggle to get to school because they lack secure transportation.
Authorities at Saraswati Gramoday Higher Secondary School, Paliya Pipariya, Bankhedi, and Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Raisen, received the buses. The Avaada Foundation’s director, Ritu Patwari, flagged off the buses during the ceremonies and gave the school administration the keys. The Foundation’s continuous efforts to improve Madhya Pradesh’s educational infrastructure were valued by the dignitaries in attendance.
“Education is the foundation of a strong and progressive nation,” Mrs Ritu Patwari stated as she spoke to the crowd. The future of our country is strengthened by every action that gets a child closer to attending school. We are assisting students in becoming closer to their goals by making sure they can travel in safety and comfort, particularly for girls.
In order to guarantee consistent attendance and lower the number of school dropouts, the two new school buses will transport pupils from a number of neighbouring tribal settlements. The Avaada Foundation, which has sent buses to schools in Raisen, Betul, and Dongla, now intends to provide Uttarakhand with a similar donation next month.
Beyond education, the Avaada Foundation is still promoting social change in Madhya Pradesh through a variety of projects, such as building a cutting-edge planetarium on the Tropic of Cancer in Dongla, Ujjain, and offering training in stitching and other skills to empower women. Forty women have received industrial sewing machines from the Avaada Foundation, enabling them to work in the apparel and textile sector and support themselves sustainably.
With these programmes, the Avaada Foundation upholds its commitment to inclusive development, empowerment, and education, making sure that no woman or child is left behind in the pursuit of advancement.
The goal of the Avaada Foundation, the social impact division of the Avaada Group, is to promote sustainable and equitable development throughout India. Targeted grassroots initiatives are used by the Foundation to improve underprivileged areas, guided by its signature focus on Triple E & H: Education, Employment, Environment, and Health. With a strong presence throughout India, the Avaada Foundation has helped more than 300,000 students access better educational opportunities, empowered more than 20,000 women through livelihood and skill-building programmes, provided healthcare to over 200,000 people, and raised more than 114,315 saplings to support environmental sustainability. Additionally, it has involved over 100,000 young people and community members in awareness-raising and capacity-building initiatives. Based on the idea that even little efforts can have a big impact, the Avaada Foundation is promoting inclusive development, bolstering community resilience, and advancing its mission to create a more just and healthy society.
