The top packaged drinking water firm in India, Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., has received the esteemed Mahatma Award 2025 in the Waste and Material Productivity category of CSR Excellence. The award honours Bisleri’s dedication to creating a circular economy and generating significant impact via its sustainability programmes. Out of the 2,100 organisations that submitted entries for the Mahatma Award this year, only 90 winners were chosen from a variety of categories.
A. Annamalai, Director of the National Gandhi Museum in New Delhi, and Dr Kiran Bedi, the first female IPS officer in India and a former lieutenant governor of Puducherry, were among the eminent dignitaries who graced the award ceremony as the chief guests.

The Mahatma Award is given to visionaries and changemakers whose revolutionary effort best embodies Gandhi’s principles. founded by Mr Amit Sachdeva, a lawyer and Gandhian, with assistance from Rajashree Birla of the Aditya Birla Group.
