On September 8, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the Delhi government would collaborate with the business community to successfully tackle the city’s three main problems: increasing rubbish hills, poor air quality, and Yamuna pollution.
Delhi faces many difficulties, but if society, business, and the government cooperate, any issue can be resolved. At an occasion in Raj Niwas, Chief Minister Gupta said, “CSR funds can help solve three of the Capital’s inherited challenges.” To stop pollution from entering the Yamuna, the CM urged private sector companies to install sewers and set up modest sewage treatment plants.
