By signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army’s Bombay Sappers, Easebuzz, a prominent FinTech business, has made a major step towards empowering the families of India’s courageous souls. The partnership seeks to assist bereaved mothers from defence families with their children’s educational needs. This collaboration reflects Easebuzz’s dedication to giving back to the community and is a component of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The program’s main goals are to guarantee that Veer Naris’ children have access to high-quality education and the tools they need to lay a solid foundation for their future. Easebuzz is providing financial aid to students selected by the Bombay Sappers Association in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding. Through the development of skills necessary for leadership and employability, the programme aims to assist these kids in completing their education and pursuing higher education. “The Indian Army remains deeply committed to the welfare of its personnel and their families,” said Lieutenant General Vikas Rohella, who spoke at the event. A significant step towards assisting Veer Naris’ children in obtaining education and creating better futures is this collaboration with Easebuzz.
It is a great illustration of the corporate sector showing support for the defence community. One of the Indian Army’s oldest and most illustrious regiments, the Bombay Sappers, will choose qualified recipients and oversee the programme’s execution to guarantee that the money helps the most vulnerable. We are pleased to collaborate with the Indian Army on this great project,” said Amit Kumar, Director & CTO of Easebuzz. Every soldier has a family behind them that quietly adds to the strength of the country.
Senior Indian Army personnel and Easebuzz leadership were present when the Memorandum of Understanding was formally inked in Pune. The partnership is run within Easebuzz’s CSR framework, which is in line with Schedule VII of the Companies Act of 2013 and acknowledges that assistance for dependents of the armed services and education are legitimate CSR initiatives.
