The CSR division of CarDekho Group, Girnar Foundation, celebrated Children’s Day and Universal Children’s Day with a number of meaningful events at its Gurgaon and Jaipur offices, including kids from nearby NGOs in fun and educational activities. The Foundation hosted more than fifty youngsters from the Pragati Vidhayala NGO in Jaipur. Nearly fifty workers gave their time to plan creative seminars and participatory games, creating a supportive and inquisitive atmosphere. Every child was given a stationery hamper, and the Foundation provided extra educational resources, a first-aid kit, dustbins, soft boards, and blackboards to help the NGO further. Refreshments were also provided to the kids to make their visit cosy and special.
As part of its commemoration of Universal Children’s Day, the Girnar Foundation welcomed about fifty girls from the Aide et Action NGO to its offices in Gurugram. Engaging activities led by staff members were intended to encourage kids’ confidence, creativity, and teamwork. All of the girls received Creative Art Hampers from the Foundation, which also set up refreshments for them throughout the event. The Foundation’s employee-driven initiative, #ShareTheSmiles, enhanced the festivities at both locations by allowing staff members to donate thoughtful gifts that the kids eagerly accepted. These gifts ranged from lunch boxes, water bottles, and stationery to carrom boards, chocolates, snacks, and other treats.
The Girnar Foundation’s ongoing commitment to advancing educational advancement and fostering fair chances for kids from marginalised communities is reflected in these programmes. The Foundation reaffirms its long-term commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, especially SDG 4, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, by bolstering school infrastructures, offering learning necessities, and promoting direct employee engagement.
“Every child deserves access to education, encouragement, and the opportunity to explore their potential,” said Pihu Jain, Head of the Girnar Foundation. This idea is the foundation of our Children’s Day activities in Jaipur and Gurgaon. The enthusiastic involvement of our staff members, who banded together to provide the kids with happy, meaningful experiences, was what really made these festivities unique. We are dedicated to furthering the UN Sustainable Development Goals and making sure that we keep creating fair learning opportunities for young people via persistent efforts in education and community assistance.
The Girnar Foundation’s goal of empowering young learners and creating more resilient, inclusive communities is reaffirmed with these activities. To promote long-lasting social impact, the Foundation will keep working with grassroots partners, funding education-led initiatives, and promoting staff involvement.
