To expand Delhi’s tourism sector, CM Rekha Gupta recently launched 65-seater double-decker e-buses in the national capital. These modern, low-floor, and emission-free vehicles are designed to enhance the tourist experience and boost eco-tourism initiatives. The first bus was provided by the Hinduja Group as part of their CSR program.
The CM said that the service will operate on a fixed tourism circuit, covering Delhi’s most iconic cultural, historical, and heritage landmarks. The inaugural route began at the Shaheed Smarak and includes destinations such as the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. Pre-booking options will be available for passengers.
The tourism department will manage the bus along a dedicated route connecting key landmarks in central Delhi. The proposed circuit includes Bharat Mandapam, the National War Memorial, the New Parliament complex, and Dilli Haat.
