Moscow will celebrate The India Day festival at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow from August 20 to 23, bringing together Indian and Russian communities for a celebration of culture, traditions and people-to-people ties. It will be devoted to Indian culture and to strengthening ties between Indian and Russian communities. The festival will be held under the theme “Unity of Cultures – Friendship of Peoples” and will have 20 cultural zones including yoga, chess, Indian weddings, dance, and Ayurveda.
TV BRICS said that around 75 yoga schools and over 200 Indian and Russian dancers are expected to join, demonstrating the diversity of Indian cultural and artistic traditions.Visitors will also have the chance to enjoy Indian cuisine through cooking masterclasses, restaurants and shops selling authentic dishes and culinary products.
The BRICS pres-summit Business Forum will be held at Gostiny Dvor on August 20, in the course of the cultural celebrations.The forum will gather representatives of business, government bodies and financial organizations to discuss practical ways of cooperation within BRICS.The business forum will focus on trade and investment, regional cooperation, innovation and technology, logistics and tourism.
