Earlier this month, the Kia Syros EV was first observed undergoing testing in South Korea. The Syros EV prototype has now been observed in India. Recently, the camouflaged test mule was seen at a Kochi charging station. Overall, the style resembles that of the ICE variant.
The oddball tallboy style will remain. The EV will have roof rails, broad B-pillars, and an upright front fascia with vertical LED DRLs. It is anticipated that the Syros EV will have the same battery options as the Inster EV. Among these are 42 kWh and 49 kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) batteries, which are claimed to have respective ranges of 300 and 355 km (WLTP cycle). In the Indian market, the Syros EV will compete against the Mahindra XUV 400, Tata Nexon EV, and MG Windsor EV.
