Luminous Power Technologies has formalised its long-standing activities under a single brand philosophy with the launch of Spring, its new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) branding. The three cornerstones of the new plan are the environment, education and employment, and electrification through solar.
Over 1.88 lakh lives have been impacted by Luminous in 13 states thus far. Among its initiatives are the Solar PV Installation Training programme, which has trained over 900 youngsters from underserved communities; the Luminous Advanced Mentoring Program (LAMP), which has coached 1,590 scholars; and Project L.I.F.E., which has planted more than 22,000 trees. In order to encourage women’s involvement in the energy industry, the company has teamed with the Royal Rajasthan Foundation on the Pink Promise initiative and is still running its award-winning #WomenInEnergy campaign.
