NTPC Mouda inaugurated a Community Hall at Lapka village in Nagpur district as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to community development and social welfare.
The Community Hall was inaugurated by Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda, in the presence of Yogesh Kawaduji Gongale, Village Head, Gram Panchayat Lapka.
The newly constructed facility is expected to serve as a vital hub for social, cultural, and community activities in Lapka village, providing residents with a dedicated space for meetings, gatherings, and local events.
Addressing the gathering, Joseph Bastian highlighted NTPC’s commitment to inclusive growth and emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in improving the quality of life in surrounding communities.
The Community Hall is envisaged to strengthen community engagement and facilitate the organization of awareness programmes, as well as educational, health, and welfare activities at the grassroots level.
NTPC stated that such initiatives enhance access to essential community infrastructure and empower local residents by promoting social interaction, capacity building, and collective participation in community development.
