Samsung, the biggest consumer electronics company in India, strengthened its commitment to developing a digital workforce prepared for the future by certifying 450 students in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Coding & Programming at the NSIC Technical Service Centre in Hyderabad as part of its flagship skilling initiative, Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC).
Samsung’s global skilling initiative, Samsung Innovation Campus, aims to improve employability in the digital economy by giving young people cutting-edge, industry-relevant technology skills through project-based learning, organised training, and experiential learning. Rajivnath, Centre Head, NSIC Hyderabad, graced the certificate felicitation ceremony, congratulating the students and emphasising the value of ongoing investments in youth skill development to assist India’s digital transformation.
Of the 450 students who received certification at NSIC Hyderabad this year, 350 received instruction in coding & programming and 100 finished advanced training in artificial intelligence. Both programmes followed a structured curriculum with an emphasis on real-world application and industry applicability. The Hyderabad initiative is a component of Samsung’s larger goal to train 20,000 young people in India by 2025 through the Samsung Innovation Campus. SIC seeks to close significant skill shortages and promote a culture of technology-led creativity throughout the nation in line with the Government of India’s Skill India and Digital India objectives.
With 42% of women participating nationwide and active outreach to tier-2, tier-3, and semi-urban areas, the programme places a high priority on inclusivity and guarantees fair access to top-notch technology education.
Samsung Innovation Campus continues to bolster India’s future-tech talent pipeline and assist the nation’s transition to a digitally empowered economy by increasing access to in-demand digital skills and developing talent that is prepared for the workforce.
