On October 11, Silvin Additives, a top producer of high-performance additives for the PVC and CPVC sectors, officially opened the recently renovated library at Sheth HH Shirolawala High School in Bodeli. In the presence of Bhavesh Shirolawala, the school’s trustee, instructors, students, and local authorities, Pradip Chokshi, the founder of Silvin Additives, officially opened the library. Silvin Additives’ CSR initiatives are still motivated by Chokshi’s desire for improving the community. His arrival marked the beginning of a revitalised effort to give educators and students better access to opportunities and information.
With a wide selection of books, the library hopes to stimulate students’ creativity and curiosity. Silvin’s commitment to conserving linguistic and cultural history in an increasingly digital world is demonstrated by a unique collection of Gujarati books, which inspires pupils to respect reading while embracing contemporary teaching resources. More than 2,000 students and 100 teachers will gain from the renovated building, which offers a productive setting that fosters lifelong learning and improves academic performance.
Bodeli is particularly important to Silvin Additives. In addition to being the birthplace of founder Pradip Chokshi, it was also the early home of MD Jagat Chokshi and Joint MD Mirang Chokshi. Additionally, the company’s cutting-edge production facility is located in Bodeli. Because of these circumstances, Silvin’s CSR agenda now centres on Bodeli. Silvin Additives maintains its conviction that fostering knowledge and heritage is essential to real advancement through programmes like this one.
