Leading electronics system integrator SINBON Electronics Co., Ltd. recently announced the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report, which highlights a number of social responsibility and constructive workplace accomplishments.
“SINBON’s greatest strength is our people, and our communities and colleagues are at the heart of everything we do,” SINBON Chairman Joseph Wang said. “We are still totally dedicated to supporting the communities in which we operate and looking out for everyone who contributes to SINBON’s success. Our philosophy that success is shared—that when we protect, empower, and uplift people, the entire organisation and society progress forward together—is reaffirmed by these milestones in our social responsibility path. Nearly two-thirds of SINBON’s global workforce is female, and women make up 46% of the company’s leadership team. SINBON was honoured with LinkedIn’s 2024 Best Employer Brand Award for its people-first attitude. It was also honoured with the Best Employer Award at the first Employer Brand Competition in 2024 by Taiwan’s 104 Job Bank.
SINBON keeps expanding its Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance. The company’s Guohua and Zhonghua plants in Miaoli, Taiwan, were awarded Silver Status under the RBA Validated Assessment Program (VAP) in July 2024. The company wants to add more international locations to its RBA certification coverage.
To uphold ethical hiring practices and safeguard employees’ rights, SINBON implemented a Zero Placement Fee policy in Taiwan in March 2024. Job searchers are exempt from paying any costs related to the hiring process under the policy. Additionally, the business makes sure that its employees are not subjected to associated costs such as deposits, agency fees, or service charges.
SINBON has improved pay slips’ correctness and clarity, created bilingual versions for international workers, and conducted briefings to guarantee that all employees fully comprehend the pay structure in order to better support workers.
SINBON actively supports local communities outside of the workplace. The business has implemented a number of projects in Taiwan, including placing Circular Cup Machines in the public space surrounding SINBON’s offices and sending multilingual volunteers to nearby schools. These initiatives support its goal of generating sustainable social value in addition to commercial expansion.
