In honour of Children’s Day, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reaffirmed its dedication to educating the next generation. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focus on education, the corporation has announced that it will be donating learning support materials and necessary school infrastructure to 11 government schools in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
Through TKM’s “Child-to-Community” strategy, the project seeks to enhance learning settings and promote the holistic development of students. Better classroom facilities, sanitary midday food facilities, and chances to promote involvement in extracurricular activities are some of the improvements. The goal of these interventions is to improve learning environments, inclusivity, and engagement in schools. This programme, which reflects Toyota’s “Samuday Vikas” attitude, supports government schools, teachers, and students in an effort to promote education at the grassroots level. In the presence of Smt Jayashree A. Chavan, Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, local school officials, and representatives from TKM’s CSR & External Affairs division, the official transfer was held at Zilla Parishad Prathamik Shaala (ZPPS), Chincholi.
Jayashree A. Chavan, Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, expressed gratitude for TKM’s donation, saying, “TKM’s prompt assistance for Bidkin’s government schools would improve essential learning facilities and directly help students in their everyday educational experience. These business collaborations are essential to bolstering the ecosystem of public education. We have no doubt that our intervention will benefit the kids and the community in the long run.” At TKM, we believe that quality education is the foundation of an empowered society,” stated Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, Senior Vice President & Head of State Affairs, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, in reference to the programme.
We are fortifying the foundation of education by enhancing the environment and facilities in classrooms. We hope to provide kids the tools and self-assurance they need to take control of their destiny by implementing this program and coordinating our efforts with national initiatives like Skill India and the National Education Policy (NEP).
