NBCC (India) Limited has secured work orders worth approximately ₹103.47 crore from Power Finance Corporation (PFC) for the execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects across multiple states in India. The projects will be carried out as part of NBCC’s role as a Project Management Agency, further strengthening its position in government-backed infrastructure and development initiatives.
The development was disclosed through a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). According to the filing, the total value of the awarded projects is around ₹103.47 crore, excluding GST. The work falls within the ordinary course of business for NBCC, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Under the agreement, Power Finance Corporation has appointed NBCC to implement various CSR initiatives in different regions of the country. While the specific details of the projects have not yet been publicly disclosed, the assignments are expected to include social infrastructure and community development works aligned with PFC’s CSR objectives.
The order highlights NBCC’s growing role in project management consultancy and execution of public sector projects. Over the years, the company has built expertise in handling infrastructure development, redevelopment works, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, sports infrastructure, and government buildings across India and abroad.
Industry observers view the latest contract as an indication of continued trust in NBCC’s execution capabilities. Being selected by Power Finance Corporation, one of India’s leading government-owned financial institutions in the power sector, reflects confidence in NBCC’s ability to deliver large-scale social development projects efficiently and within timelines.
The award also adds to NBCC’s recent series of project wins. Earlier this week, the company announced multiple new work orders worth around ₹176.28 crore from various government and institutional clients. These included projects related to sports infrastructure, educational campuses, office buildings, and institutional development works across different states.
NBCC currently operates across three major business segments — Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), and real estate development. The company has played a key role in several landmark government projects, including redevelopment of public infrastructure, institutional campuses, roads, housing complexes, and urban development initiatives.
The new CSR project orders are expected to contribute positively to NBCC’s order book and reinforce its presence in the social infrastructure sector. As public sector enterprises increasingly focus on CSR-driven development initiatives, companies like NBCC are emerging as important implementation partners for large-scale welfare and infrastructure programmes.
