Social Welfare Minister Announces Free Coaching, Hostel and Meals for Eligible Students.The Social Welfare Department on Tuesday issued orders for the construction of the Dr BR Ambedkar Study Circle building in Ongole at an estimated cost of Rs 4.40 crore. The new facility will come up on the site of the unfinished Yuva Bhavan.
Social Welfare Minister Dr Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for approving the project. He said the coalition government is focusing on improving access to education, employment and livelihood opportunities for economically weaker sections.
The minister said the previous TDP government, during 2014–2019, had initiated work on the Yuva Bhavan in Ongole, but the project was later left incomplete under the YSRCP government.

He also announced that a skill development centre for unemployed youth would be established in Ongole within this year.
According to the minister, the Social Welfare Department has already completed several buildings across Andhra Pradesh with a combined investment of around Rs 100 crore. He added that IIT, NEET and Excellence Centres aimed at providing quality, corporate-level education to students from poor families would be launched later this month.
