Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has signed two MoUs with the Sambalpur District Administration to strengthen healthcare support and improve community infrastructure under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
The agreements aim to address important local needs, particularly the nutritional requirements of TB patients and the safety of residents in public spaces. The total investment for the two projects is ₹1.51 crore.

Under the first agreement, MCL will provide nutritional food baskets to 1,100 TB patients in Sambalpur district for one year.
