Union Minister Annapurna Devi said women and children in West Bengal will benefit from the uniform implementation of key Central government welfare schemes. According to Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi, women and children in West Bengal will gain from the state’s consistent implementation of several Central government initiatives.
Today, she convened a review meeting in Kolkata to discuss the state’s progress with the Ministry’s numerous programs and projects. She congratulated the Chief Minister and stated that the Central government supports the state in every way while responding to questions from reporters.
Additionally, she mentioned that September is Poshan Maah, a time when a number of events are planned to increase awareness among rural women. In answer to a query, the Minister stated that the Prime Minister is dedicated to women’s empowerment and promised that the Center will provide the West Bengal administration with all the assistance it needs to promote the welfare and advancement of women in the state.
Senior representatives from the federal and state administrations, as well as West Bengal Women and Child Development Minister Malti Rava Roy and Union Minister of State Savitri Thakur, attended the meeting.
Tomorrow, Annapurna Devi will be present at a meeting of the Ministry’s Consultative Committee.
