Today, Coforge Limited, a multinational provider of digital services and solutions, opened the Coforge Public Library in Hyderabad, a top-notch establishment devoted to promoting inclusive education and community growth.
This is the third library to be opened under Coforge’s flagship CSR effort; the first two were opened successfully in Noida in February 2024 and Gurugram in June 2025. The Hyderabad library is situated next to the Kondapur residential centre on the eighth floor of Pranava Business Park in Kothaguda. The area, which is 15,660 square feet in size, has broad corridors for wheelchair accessibility, floor-to-ceiling glass walls that provide expansive city views, fully air-conditioned interiors, and a lively children’s area that encourages young learners via exploratory play.
Fiction, thrillers, travel, children’s books, self-help, management, spirituality, health, art, artificial intelligence, the environment, photography, poetry, autobiographies, biographies, graphic novels, comics, politics, and classics are just a few of the many genres represented in the library’s impressive collection of more than 15,000 books. Prized reference books and award-winning authors are included in the collection. For readers, a completely digital cataloguing and administration system guarantees a smooth experience. The Coforge Public Library will be open every day from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 365 days a year, and is totally free of charge. It seeks to be the cornerstone of inclusive development for the neighbourhood, a doorway to knowledge, and a stimulant for individual development.
Anuradha Sehgal, Chief Brand & Sustainability Officer at Coforge, spoke at the opening and stated, “We firmly think that libraries are essential tools for community development and play a critical part in nation-building. We are pleased to offer Hyderabad residents this fantastic option today. We hope that future generations will find it to be a haven of lifelong learning.
Sudhir Singh, CEO & Executive Director of Coforge, noted in a statement released for the event: “We view public libraries as enduring social infrastructure that transcends corporate models and technological cycles. We are dedicated to gradually creating a nationwide network of these libraries through our CSR programme. Their influence will be gauged by the chances they provide for people to grow, learn, and prosper in addition to the quantity of visitors.
