As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, J&K Bank has given a cutting-edge critical care ambulance to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, significantly enhancing the region’s healthcare system. The S.K. International Convention Centre (SKICC) hosted a solemn ceremony to give over the fully furnished ambulance, which is intended for emergency and life-threatening medical emergencies.
In front of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, General Manager & Divisional Head (Kashmir) Arshad Qadri, General Manager Mohammad Muzaffar Wani, HoD Hospital Management (SKIMS) Dr G.H. Yatoo, and other high-ranking officials, Chief General Manager (Operations) Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat gave the symbolic key to SKIMS Director Dr Mohammad Ashraf Ganai on behalf of the bank.
“As a responsible financial institution, J&K Bank remains steadfast in its resolve to contribute meaningfully towards improving public healthcare infrastructure across the region,” said Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, who spoke at the occasion and emphasised the bank’s dedication to community welfare. This critical care ambulance is just one more step in the government’s efforts to make sure that people have access to life-saving medical care when they need it most.
This programme is in line with J&K Bank’s corporate social responsibility mission to assist community development, healthcare, and education initiatives throughout Jammu and Kashmir in order to make a significant societal effect.
