As part of its Sravanam project, which helps youngsters with hearing problems, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has received a substantial contribution of 105 hearing devices worth Rs 20 lakh. On behalf of his son Virat Nagaram, former TTD advisor for futuristic projects Amar Nagaram gave the donation to TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal at the TTD administrative building. Virat Nagaram of Tirupati donated 105 hearing devices valued at ₹20 lakh, which he personally gave to the EO, according to a statement released by TTD. Children who successfully finish their training under the Sravanam project will receive these devices, which will aid them in overcoming obstacles connected to hearing impairment as they progress through their developmental path.
This donation coincides with TTD’s extensive preparations for the upcoming Panchami Theertham celebrations at Tiruchanoor. TTD is the guardian of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, the richest Hindu shrine in the world. The Pushkarini is ready for devotees to take the holy dip in a secure and well-run setting, according to a TTD update on X, which affirmed that preparations for the holy occasion are well underway. The temple administration has set up effective lines, shelters, drinking water, and extensive security precautions to handle the thousands of pilgrims that visit.
“The lives of the kids receiving training through the Sravanam project will be significantly improved by this kind donation. They will have improved access to sound, education, and daily communication thanks to these hearing aids. Anil Kumar Singhal, Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, expressed his gratitude to Virat Nagaram and his family for their support of this admirable cause and for standing with TTD’s dedication to inclusive welfare.
“This initiative is close to our hearts,” Amar Nagaram continued. We hope that this donation will assist kids in overcoming hearing impairments and advancing with self-assurance. It is our modest contribution to bettering lives and giving back to the community that has provided us with so much.
